Michael Jackson: The Experience sells 2 million units, dated for Kinect and PlayStation Move

Despite a mediocre reception from reviewers (currently 57 on Metacritic), Michael Jackson: The Experience continues to climb the sales charts. Ubisoft revealed that the King of Pop dance sim has sold through two million units to date since its debut in late November. That’s two million units just on the Wii, PSP and DS alone.

Question: what about the delayed versions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360? Answer: Ubi has also announced that Michael Jackson: The Experience will dance its way onto Kinect and PlayStation Move on April 12 in North America and April 14 2011 in Europe (15th for UK). Kinect and Move versions will for the first time allow players to dance and sing. It will also include new tunes such as “Blood on the Dance Floor” and “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” with additional tracks to be “revealed soon.”

Also still to come “later this year” is the game’s debut in Japan, which Ubisoft notes “has one of the largest and most passionate concentrations of Michael Jackson fans anywhere.” Hee-hee!
