Previously hinted at, City Interactive has confirmed it’s working on a sequel to last year’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior (pictured). The news comes from chief producer Michal Sroczynski who cemented the bit in a recent Eurogamer.se chat.
The studio recently announced the licensing of Crytek’s CryEngine 3, which Sroczynski confirms is the tech the follow-up will run on. It’s being created for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is one of four first-person shooters the company is currently occupied with.
Of course, with the PS3 version of the original yet to hit shelves (expect it next month), there are no dates for the sequel just yet.
