Raven likely at work on next Bond game

You can’t have a Bond flick without a Bond game. And now that the 23rd James Bond movie is in production with a slated release of November 2012, it’s time to get cracking on the accompanying videogame.

If rumors and speculation are to be relied upon, it’s likely that Raven Software will be working on the new game. Last month, footage of a stealth-focused Bond game was released by animator Hanjin Song.  The gameplay appeared to mirror that of covert action games like Splinter Cell, with Bond performing stealth kills from a third-person perspective. Moreover, developers from Raven last year were reportedly pulled from development work on a Bond game to work on other projects. Raven Software’s recent releases include Wolfenstein and Singularity.  No official announcements regarding the game have yet been made.
