It was only last year that we enjoyed Samus’ last adventure in the form of Metroid: Other M. That means we should get a new entry in the series in — oh I don’t know, about five years?
Maybe not; a new Metroid could be revealed for 3DS on Wednesday. Jonathan Ross, a famous British TV presenter is set to host a Nintendo European press conference on Wednesday. One fan expressed his hopes for a Metroid reveal to him on Twitter, to which he replied: “I think you’re going to be pleased then…”
Granted Ross isn’t exactly Shigeru Miyamoto and can’t be completely trusted, but this is still promising news. Where could Samus go in 3D?
