Gears of War Triple Pack hits Feb. 15

Just as suspected, a triple shot of Gears is dropping next month.

Microsoft today made the Gears of War Triple Pack as official as can be. The $30 bundle will include the original Gears of War, Gears of War 2, and Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection. The All Fronts Collection packs in the Road to Ruin single-player campaign mission, as well as a heap of multiplayer environments.

Microsoft calls this an “unprecedented value,” and with all that’s bundled, it’s hard to disagree.

Microsoft is no doubt issuing this pack to hype the upcoming Gears of War 3 even further, but I like this approach. If you’ve yet to play a title in the series, for $30 you can have every last bit of content released for the franchise. Not bad.

Gears 3 drops this fall. To get into the beta in the spring, you’ve got to buy the Bulletstorm Epic Edition.
