Homefront PC specs announced

Homefront, THQ’s entry to the crowded FPS genre, is out in a few months’ time. Just the right time to unveil the specs PC gamers keen on taking a break from Call of Duty and Battlefield must meet then; the official system requirements for the Kaos-developed shooter have been revealed.

Win XP/Vista/7 humming on a dual-core processor and 2 GB of memory is said to be the bare minimum, though a quad-core machine will make the shooting all the more smoother. See below for the detailed suggestions.

Minimum Specification
– Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7
– Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz.
– 2 GB RAM
– Shader Model 3.0 graphics card with 256MB of memory
– NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS or ATI Radeon 1900XT
– 10GB of free hard drive space

The game’s out in North America on March 8th and in Europe on the 11th.
