Around the third time someone pestered me to join their mob, I pretty much wrote off Facebook as a legitimate gaming platform, along with the would-be crime lord, but Dragon Age Legends might force me to reconsider.
The Facebook-only title, launching shortly before Dragon Age II, will unlock five unique items – two rings, two amulets and a belt – in the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of its big budget counterpart. BioWare goes into deeper detail on the items on their official developer blog, revealing the rings as Evra’s Might and Air of Confidence and the belt as Evra’s Trophy Belt. The two amulets, the Ivo Family Crest and Dura’s Blue Flame, are pulled straight from the narrative of Dragon Age Journeys, a 2-D flash game set in the Dragon Age universe.
To have a hope of joining the closed beta, you’ll have to sign up on the official website and cross your fingers for an invite to the demon infested lands of Thedas. Until then, keep saving up for that armored Humvee.
