To say that Capcom is having a strong year would be an understatement. For the nine months ended December 31, 2010, Capcom’s revenues increased 294.8% over the previous year. Over the nine month period, sales revenues were 70.77 billion yen and net income was 6.83 billion. For the most part, these impressive figures are attributable to a collection of strong software releases. 2010 saw Capcom release Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, a phenomenally popular Japanese title that sold four million units during its first month in the country. Other releases included Dead Rising 2, which sold over 2 million units worldwide, and Super Street Fighter IV, which passed the 1.5 million mark.
