We’re used to hearing about SEGA title likes Valkyria Chronicles or Yakuza failing to achieve much commercial success, but we’re happy to hear a different tale today. For starters, Platinum Games’ Vanquish has sold 820,000 copies. Okay so it’s not end of the world stuff, but for a Japanese shooter from a developer that isn’t used to selling stacks of games, it’s pretty encouraging to see.
Sonic Colors have also run rings around the competition, pulling in 1.85 million copies worldwide. Looks like the blue bullet has still got it in him.
SEGA have Yakuza 4 lined-up for us in the next few months; can Kazuma and co rake in the sales this time around?
