
Freedom has its cost. After going independent in December of last year, a Harmonix spokesperson’s told Joystiq that the company will be “restructuring [their] organization to bring it into alignment with [their] current product development plans,” which, unfortunately, “means reducing the number of full-time staff”.
Always a tough time to look for work, Harmonix assured that they “[...] sincerely appreciate the work of each and every one of these employees[...]” and are “[...]working to ensure that those affected are well taken care of as [they] make this change.”
