Reiterating what was already mentioned a few months ago, news hit once again that Blizzard’s StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, the follow-up to last summer’s Wings of Liberty, is “unlikely” to see a release during 2011.
“We’re working on it as hard as we can. We’re really trying to push on this and get it out as soon as we can,” StarCraft II game director Dustin Browder said during an interview, adding: “I don’t think you’ll be playing it this year. That seems very unlikely to me. But we’re pounding away on it as fast as we possibly can.”
While that is bad news for fans, there is a slight chance that if you like that one game developed by Blizzard, you might like that other one too, obviously referring to Diablo III in this particular case, which made headlines recently about its intention to make it to retail 2011.
