If there’s a chance for any developer/publisher to expand upon a franchise beyond the actual game(s), rest assured, they will. Like in the case of Visceral and EA bridging the original Dead Space with Dead Space 2 with the animated feature – “without being anime” – Dead Space Aftermath.
