Felicia Day in all-new web series based on Dragon Age

Twitter darling and web star Felicia Day (not pictured) is teaming up with BioWare to produce a six-part web series based on its Dragon Age games called Dragon Age: Redemption which should premier sometime this summer. Day is most famous for her role as Vi on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but has made a name for herself on the internet with her web series The Guild, as well as portraying the love interest in Joss Whedon’s online series Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

“I’m a huge Dragon Age fan, and I have been looking for a follow up project to ‘The Guild’ for quite some time,” said Day. “I was thrilled when the opportunity to work with BioWare materialized. Dragon Age: Redemption allows me to tell a fantasy story in a new way, using a universe I really love. It has been a dream working together.”

Day stars as Tallis, an Elven assassin hired by the Qunari to capture a rogue mage who’s being a general bother. Along the way she’ll team up with other mysterious people whose common goal is to kick some bad mage butt. The series will be presented by Day on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC tonight, with an on-set look on Gametrailers TV following up on the 24th.
