Sony postpones MotorStorm Apocalypse in Japan

Sony has decided to indefinitely suspend the Japanese release of MotorStorm Apocalypse (or MotorStorm 3 as it’s known there), following last week’s earthquake and tsunami crisis.

Originally planned for a March 17 release, the off-road racer is now marked “TBA”. Like SEGA with Yakuza Of The End, Sony claimed that this was due to “various circumstances”.

The publisher outright cancelled the game in New Zealand following an earthquake in the region a few weeks ago.

The PlayStation information and repairs centre is also temporarily unavailable.
