We dare say that most of us have seen the TV show Wipeout, mostly due to the probable fact that watching a fellow human getting his/her faced hammered is a situation hard not to laugh at. But what if things were the other way around? What if we were the ones getting our faces caved it? How fun would that be then?
Activision, in conjunction with ABC Entertainment Group, have announced they would be bringing Wipeout In the Zone exclusively for Xbox 360 and Kinect. The game promises have players “running, ducking, dodging and wiping out” using Microsoft’s motion sensor throughout 30 levels that “will test players’ limits in more ridiculous ways than ever.” The show’s hosts John Anderson, John Henson and co-host Jill Wagner will be lending their voices and commentaries.
It all sounds fun enough, but it’s hard to believe our digital selves talking one hit after the other will be as fun as what actually goes down on the show. We’d love to be proven wrong when the game hit shelves this summer, alongside the premier of Wipeout’s summer season on ABC.
