Crysis 2 has been having a few issues with its PS3 multiplayer demo. Players are finding it difficult to connect to games, which is a little worrying given the game’s imminent release. EA are keen to fix the issue though, so they’ve pulled the demo from the PlayStation Store.
A statement on the publisher’s website reads: “Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays. We’ve identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch.”
Given the demo’s late arrival to PS3 it’s a shame that it’s not up to snuff. Hopefully Crytek gets everything in order before the game’s launch next week.
