Despite rumors of a possible launch delay of Apple’s iPad 2 in the UK, the iDevice is still on for the planned March 25th release. An overwhelming demand in the US – just as with the first iPad – could have meant a delay for the UK market. Apple has happily squashed those rumors.
“Everything that is on the website still holds true; the website says 25 March and that’s when it’ll be,” said an Apple spokesperson.
There you have it UK, your chances of getting a tablet that changes everything, again, are, well… still slim. Bear in mind that even if you do hold a favorable position in the queue, retailers might be sold out by the time you get to the counter. After all, it sold nearly a million units in its inaugural weekend in the US.
