The logo for Deep Silver’s upcoming zombie game Dead Island will be censored in North America.
The uncensored boxart logo, viewable above, shows a zombie hanging from a palm tree. The logo for North America has been censored to show a zombie underneath the tree (view here). However, Dead Island‘s in-game logo will remain unchanged.
As for European copies of the game, the boxart and in-game logos will remain unchanged, in all their hanging zombie glory.
Dead Island is currently pegged to debut worldwide in 2011. Are you ready?
