EALA staffing up for new third-person shooter

Electronic Arts has made no secret its attempt to go head-to-head with Activision and its Call of Duty franchise, but as of late they’ve fallen short. Now, EA is prepping another, unannounced shooter.

A job listing for a senior multiplayer designer for a third-person shooter from development shop EALA has popped up on EA’s job portal page.

What’s more, the new game will use DICE’s Frostbite 2.0 engine, which is primed to make its destructive debut in this fall’s Battlefield 3.
