Buying a second hand copy of Mortal Kombat may lock you out of the game’s online modes, Joystiq claims.
Warner Bros. could be looking to implement the same online pass feature that EA and THQ have been using to make sure they get a little cash out of pre-owned game sales. Buying the game used will mean you have spend a further 800 MS points/$10 on unlocking the online features. There will be a two-day trial included to help you decide if you can live without the multiplayer.
If true, will future WB titles like F.E.A.R. 3 include a pass?
