Super Street Fighter IV 3D seems to be the big winner among the 3DS launch line up. Capcom have announced that their 3D fighter has shipped a million units worldwide.
It’s not too surprising given that the game was one of the few titles in the line up that actually looked, well y’know, good. A victorious Capcom said in a statement: “In capturing both new fans and longtime fans of the series, we were able to reach the one million unit mark for this title.
“As always, we at Capcom will continue to pursue our ‘single content multiple usage’ strategy by making advancements on new hardware to maximise sales, while leveraging our brands to bring maximum satisfaction to as many of our users as possible.”
Hopefully Capcom’s other 3DS titles, including both Resident Evil: Revelations and Mercenaries, have similar success.
