In just six weeks of release, Bigpoint’s Battlestar Galactica Online has gathered a total of one million registered users. It’s a big achievment for the browser-based MMO, becoming the biggest launch the company has had since its creation in 2002.
To celebrate, the developer has announced a number of updates for the game. New ships will be added, including the Viper Mark VII and War Raider. Performance is also set to get a boost as Bigpoint add Unity 3.3 as their game platform, improving the visuals for the game as well as crafting a more stable online experience.
Galactica Online seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment.
