Expect to hear a lot more later on today but early details on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception‘s multiplayer modes have snuck onto the web.
In a video interview with Gamelive.tv, Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra confirmed that two player split-screen would make its way into the highly anticipated sequel thanks to the inclusion of 3D which already requires the game to run twice.
Other details leap out from the trailer (which will presumably go live today) showing in the background of the interview. It looks like character customisation is much heavier this time around, allowing players to personalise their own look. More importantly though, a date is given for the multiplayer beta: 7/5/11.
Again, these are early details. Expect to find out a lot more on modes, customisation, and more today.
