The peaks, lows and half-pipes of SSX; devs on level design

We’ve been introduced to the team and seen how it’s aiming to bring back the franchise to its tricky and over-the-top slope-speeding roots. Now here we are, ready for a third developer diary of EA’s upcoming snowboard-fest SSX.

Last time, we were given an inside look on how the dev was handling one of the factors that make SSX what it is: tricks. This time, we get a look at the level designs and locations in which we’ll be boasting said skillful tricks, which as you’ll see and hear, are very exaggerated.

SSX is set for a January 2012 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
