If the tweets of Obsidian employees are any indication, the company has recently been hit with a string of layoffs.
Akil Hooper, producer and designer for the firm, survived seven rounds of layoffs but was axed in the eighth. Programmer Justin Reynard marked his third year anniversary with remembrance for coworkers recently lost. QA tester Ashley Betters tweeted she “no longer works for Obsidian”. An Obsidian forum post compiled the tweets with mention of other possible layoffs at the company.
