The Witcher 2’s worldwide ratings

The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings is one of those games with lots of blood and the occasional bit of boobies. Those are two tickets right there in most gamers books, but it also guarantees that the game is going to get high age ratings worldwide; sorry kids!

Just so you can be clear what rating the game’s received in your region, developer CD Projekt have sent out a handy little press release with all the ratings in one place. Check them out below.

ESRB (US, Canada)
M (Mature 17+)
Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs

USK (Germany)

Contains very strong language, strong sex and bloody violence

PEGI (Pan-Europe)
Violence, Bad Language

Australian Government Classification Board
Mature (MA 15+)
Strong violence, sex scenes, nudity and coarse language

That Australian ratings comes with a bit of a modification too. The Witcher 2 launches later this month.
