The long-awaited 3DS update, featuring the high-demanded eShop and internet browser, has been dated worldwide by Nintendo.
The official 3DS site revealed that the update will arrive in the evening of June 6 for the US (Pacific Time). IGN have also confirmed that it will then follow in both Japan and Europe on June 7. While this means that the update won’t make the original May launch, Nintendo’s E3 conference will be joining those second dates; perhaps they have something up their sleeves?
No word on what content will be on the store at launch, though we hope to get straight back into some Gameboy classics.
