As of today, pre-orders for CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings have crossed the 100,000 mark. The specific figure: 111,842 as of the start of business this morning, 40 percent of which are for the Digital Premium Edition.
The first Witcher‘s lifetime sales add up to 1.7 million copies; the sequel’s off to quite a good start then. The developer is also expecting pre-order numbers to rise “substantially” before the game’s launch next week.
The Witcher 2 is out next Tuesday, May 17, internationally.
