Confirming earlier rumors, Activision’s 2011 entry in the Call of Duty series is on for the traditional early November launch, IGN reports.
The date originates from “anonymous retail sources” who say November 8th is the day to mark. A photo of a poster, given to the site by “a trusted retail source,” also displays the date: 08.11.11
This is the latest Modern Warfare 3 info slip Activision has to accept. Following a massive cache of information leaked about the shooter last week, the publisher stepped up its promotions during the weekend by releasing four teaser trailers, confirming America, England, France and Germany as some of the locations players will do battle in.
