Don’t hold your breath for the release of SoulCalibur V any time soon; Japanese news site Andriasang is reporting that the game is only 10 percent into its development cycle, despite publisher Namco Bandai’s recent announcement.
Popular Japanese magazine Famitsu listed the number, which suggests the game’s launch could be a long way into 2012. On the positive side though, the mag also revealed that there will be just as many characters as there are in SoulCalibur 4, along with new guest fighters.
As CVG reports, marketing head Lee Kirton has said there will be “much more” of this one to show off a E3. Perhaps a company conference to reveal the guests?
