Ubisoft has pulled the lid back on some more details about Assassin’s Creed Revelations, following the announcement earlier this month.
Those details are:
- New arsenal of weapons for main character Ezio, including a hookblade, bomb crafting and heightened Eagle Sense.
- Assassin’s Creed 1 protagonist Altaïr will return as a playable character. The press release suggests that there will be some skipping back and forth in time between the Third Crusade and the 16th century, with Assassin’s Creed 1 headquarters Masyaf making a return as an in-game location.
- 16th century Constantinople will be the main location where neck stabbings will take place this time around.
- New characters include master assassin Yusuf Tazim, Prince Suleiman and apparent love interest Sofia Sorto, “a simple woman, who vies for Ezio’s heart”.
No mention is made of Desmond Miles and his modern day shenanigans, nor indeed if anyone will finally get to smoke some of the hashish, the real life hashashin were famed for.
You will however get a nifty Penny Arcade poster if you preorder the game through GameStop in the U.S.
The game is set for a November release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
