L.A. Noire’s Rockstar Pass detailed

Rockstar has finally spilled the beans on that L.A. Noire downloadable-content they’ve been promising since the game’s launch, announcing four unique cases, two detective suits and a collectible challenge.

Depending on where you pre-ordered your copy – Amazon, Walmart, Gamestop, Best Buy – you might already have free first dibs on some of this downloadable-content. In addition to the Broderick Detective Suit and Gun ($1/80 Microsoft Points), Sharpshooter Detective Suit and Gun ($1/80 Microsoft Points), The Badge Pursuit Challenge ($2/160 Microsoft Points), and Chicago Piano Machine Gun (free), there are four cases: “The Naked City” Vice case and “A Slip of The Tongue”  Traffic case are available now, with “Nicholson Electroplating Disaster” Arson case and “Reefer Madness” Vice case releasing June 21 and July 12 respectively for $4/320 Microsoft Points each.

A glimpse of it all can be found in video form here.

You can get all the content piece meal, but it doesn’t take a detective to figure that out that purchasing the “Rockstar Pass” for $10/800 Microsoft Points is your best bet, as it will give you access to all of the game’s currently available DLC, as well as the two previously unannounced cases when they become available later this summer, at a considerable discount. Though it gets less considerable the longer you wait. The $10 price tag is a limited time offer, going back up to $12 in two weeks.
