EA has just dated its DICE-developed Call of Duty challenger, and it’ll be out a few weeks ahead of the competition; Battlefield 3 will hit shelves on October 25, 2011.
The long-known-about multi-platform beta has received a launch window as well; expect it some time in September. Nothing more precise than that, sadly. It will be an open beta.
Update: Oct. 25 is the NA release then. But the EU release has been confirmed as well: October 28, 2011.
