Despite introducing a new playable character to Resident Evil: Revelations at E3 last week, Capcom have confirmed that the 3DS title will be single-player only.
It’s a shift away from the recent sweep of Resident Evil titles, including 5, Operation Raccoon City, and Mercenaries 3D, but series producer Masachika Kawata told Eurogamer that: “You can see the game is very focused on that horror atmosphere, so it’s not made for co-op play.”
Kawata further confirmed that they’re “focusing on the single-player this time.”
Revelations will launch later in the year. It will boast SpotPass and StreetPass features, despite its single-player angle.
