Those hoping for an improvement in Wii U’s hardware design, look away; the Wii successor’s looks are “quite near final.”
That’s according to Nintendo of America head Reggie Fils-Aime, who dropped the bit to Venturebeat recently. And that goes for both the controller and the console itself.
“In terms of the form factor of the console, it is quite near final,” Fils-Aime said. “Similarly the form factor of the controller is quite near final.”
And that’s that.
Wii U is expected to launch next year, possibly in the spring/summer window.
