Final Fantasy XIII-2 appears well on track for its planned ‘early 2012′ launch. Less than a third remains; according to Jump magazine, development of the RPG currently stands at 70%.
There’s been a little name change in the game as well, as Andriasang conveys. Namely, the Japanese version’s Optima Change system will in XIII-2 carry the same name as its western counterpart: the Paradigm Shift system. Exciting stuff.
Like said before, the game’s shooting for an early 2012 release. For now, this recent trailer and screenshots should occupy some time.
