Wii U’s E3 showing seemed to suggest that the system will be capable of producing games just as powerful as PS3 and 360 titles, but not really pushing the system beyond those limits.
However IndustryGamers report that this might not be the case. Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia commented via the website, “Some of the developers we spoke to indicated to us that the console will have 50% more processing power compared to the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. This is yet to be confirmed by Nintendo.”
We’re not crazy about assigning numbers and percentages to a system’s power, but if the Wii U can push games even further than the likes of Crysis 2 and Uncharted 2 then we say bring it on.
