Valve’s first-person puzzler Portal 2 has sold 3 million copies to date, according to boss man Gabe Newell.
Speaking at the Games for Change festival in New York today, the figure was dropped without clarification on platforms, though we’re guessing it’s counting all platforms including digital sales from Steam.
To compare, the first Portal had sold close to 4 million copies (not counting Steam sales) at the time of the sequel’s launch back in April.
