Yakuza Of The End, the zombiefied beat ’em up has got off to a good start in Japan, despite a long delay. SEGA has announced that the seventh entry in the long-running series has shipped 400,000 units in its first two weeks on sale.
That brings the series as a whole over the five million mark. Yakuza has seen six titles on console since 2005 and a PSP spin-off, though both that and a PS3 prequel have never made it westwards.
With Yakuza 4 out in both the US and EU, we’re looking to SEGA to announce Of The End for a 2012 release over here.
