GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64 changed the landscape of console-based first-person shooters, so it was only a matter of time before it was re-released, which was what Activision did last year. Unfortunately, the Wii reboot wasn’t very, “Bond, James Bond” and ultimately failed to recapture that which made the original so great. But, Activision’s not done yet.
The publisher has registered a number of domains that together suggest GoldenEye 007 Reloaded might be in the works. The discovery was made by none other than Superannuation, the internet extraordinaire we’ve grown to love to use as a source. But, we all know better than to take this as a confirmation that another GoldenEye 007 is in fact happening, which is why we’re making our rumor-labeled inbox one rumor richer.
