10 former employees from Test Drive Unlimited developer Eden Games have set up shop at Lyon, France, in a new studio they’ve called Blossom Minds.
The studio is focusing on digital distribution titles and intends to release its first game sometime in 2012.
Back in May, Eden went on strike to draw attention to parent Atari’s “mismanagement” and intent to lay off more than half of the studio’s workforce. More on that here.
“Blossom Minds is built on strong gameplay values, graphical skills and in-house state of the art technology, making smaller games but with big production polish,” the studio says in today’s announcement.
“We are done with AAA titles; let us bring the OOOOOOH! instead.”
Said first game is expected to be announced soon.
