News aplenty for The Lord of the Rings fans; Snowblind Studios’ War in the North has been given the launch window of ‘fall 2011’, along with deets on an upcoming North American Collector’s Edition and pre-order goods for the standard edition.
Next to the game itself, the $129.99 CE — to be available for all the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions — comes with “Inside Look: The Music of War in the North,” which packs interviews and footage with composer Inon Zur along with 3 tracks from the game’s soundtrack. An avatar (X360), theme pack (PS3) plus other digital goods are also included. And then there’s the mandatory art book.
The ‘will or won’t I’ item of the pack however is definitely the Ranger of the North Quiver Case, seen below in its full glory.
