As of today, the Xbox 360 Sky Player will be rebranded and go by the name of Sky Go. Users of the service will go unaffected by the change but there will be new Terms & Conditions to accept, which Sky Go-enabled Xbox 360 owners will be prompted to do once the console has been activated.
Should it already be just that, activated, then existing users will be directly taken to the T&C acceptance stage, upon which the press of a button will be all that stands in the way between your itch to watch TV through your console, and actually doing it. The Kinect functionalities will remain unaffected with the new, old player.
So yeah, more of an “FYI” than actual news this one.
