Another XBLA-only South Park in the works

2009’s South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play was merely the first South Park game Microsoft secured for Xbox Live Arcade, it turns out.

Developer 345 Games creative director Prithvi Virasinghe has said that they’re currently locked in an exclusive relationship with Microsoft and that a second game is on its way as well.

“Right now, South Park is actually in a first-party deal with Microsoft Studios, who published the first game, and they’re doing a second game as well,” Virasinghe tells Joystiq.

No clue on the type of game this will be or when to expect it, but once it’s out and about “that first-party exclusivity window expires.”

345 Games was established earlier in the year with the goal to turn Comedy Central and Spike TV properties into games. It just released Deadliest Warrior: Legends a week ago and is currently working on Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon.
