Section 8: Prejudice dated for PSN, new DLC for 360/PC

PS3 users waiting on Section 8: Prejudice at last have date to mark; the TimeGate shooter will arrive on the PS Store later this month, July 26th in North America ($14.99) and the 27th in Europe (£12,99).

It was previously scheduled for a vague ‘summer 2011’ release.

As a tip of the hat for waiting it out, two bonus game modes — Assault and Skirmish — will be included.

In addition, those who pick up the game during its first week also get the Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map Pack free of charge. The first 1000 buyers get an even sweeter deal by netting the Hunter Armor plus a copy of the original Section 8.

XBLA users aren’t forgotten either; two new multiplayer maps arrived as DLC just yesterday, under the Frontier Colonies Map Pack name (320 Microsoft Points, video walkthrough below). PC users will get it on the 27th.
