Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2 has managed quite the feat; it has become the best-selling third-party Wii game of all time in the US.
Though no specific numbers are provided, the game has been the #1-selling third-party game since its release last October. The franchise has collectively — that’s Just Dance, Just Dance 2 and Just Dance Kids — sold-in 14 million worldwide.
“Ubisoft is incredibly proud of the monumental success Just Dance 2 has had the past nine months,” says Ubisoft NA prez Laurent Detoc in the news announcement, going on to call the brand a “a pop culture phenomenon.”
With that kind of success, you can count on the publisher prepping more additions to the series. Next week will see the release of Just Dance Summer Party, with Just Dance 3 following in October.
