By the voice of the Dark Knight himself, Kevin Conroy revealed that upcoming sequel Batman: Arkham City won’t be done when it’s done. That sounds weird, but then again, so is dressing up like a bat and beating people to a pulp.
Arkham City will apparently see a number of “future episodes” being released as downloadable content, making Rocksteady’s latest an “ongoing game,” explains Conroy during an interview.
“You’re going to be able to download future episodes of it, so it’s going to be going on for quite a while. I’ve been recording it for a while. So that will continue.”
This is invigorating news for people willing to spend hard-earned cash on a game that won’t have multiplayer, not unlike its predecessor. With Robin, The Joker, Catwoman, Bane, The Riddler and who knows how many more party crashers set to join the cast, we bet whatever Rocksteady’s planning, it’ll most likely satisfy the vigilantes in all of us.
