Develop’s winners are in; the European industry excellence awards were dominated by independent developers, with Minecraft‘s Mojang crowned as the big winner of the night.
The studio took home three awards: New Studio, Micro Studio, Download IP.
Angry Birds nest Rovio nabbed two golden eggs if you will, Handheld Studio and Grand Prix.
Ninja Theory’s Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was deemed the best new intellectual property, while the tech it’s powered by, Epic’s Unreal Engine 3, was recognized as the best engine.
