Steam’s started taking pre-orders for Techland’s Dead Island. For the PC version only, of course.
The incentives are rather standard though; a special weapon and the Horde-like Bloodbath Arena add-on are up for grabs (via).
The weapon looks to be a circular saw attached to a baseball bat-like item. It’ll be effective, surely.
As for the DLC add-on, it’s got a bit more meat on its bones. Official details on that below:
- 4 deadly and hazardous Arenas with endless waves of zombies
- Play in single or co-op multiplayer!
- Loot XP and items and bring them over into your campaign
- Leaderboard to challenge your friends
- New gruesome weapon: Sonic Pulse Grenade
The pre-order goods apply for other retailers as well, as announced last month.
The game’s out in September, for all PC, PS3 and 360.
