Crysis 2 has been doing the business for EA. The Crytek FPS has out-shined two other big-name sequels from the publisher’s stable this year: Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age II.
While both have been said to have improved on their predecessors, Crysis 2 has to date managed to out-do them by roughly a million units. The game has shipped “approximately” 3 million units, EA recent earnings report reveals.
The game launched for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this March.
A sell-in update for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is also provided: over 9 million copies since its launch early last year.
